Scuba Discovery - from shore
To experience scuba diving for the first time, you don’t need any certification. Our program, known as Basic Diver, is available here on Cozumel.
We conduct small group sessions limited to 2 participants. Initially, we gather at the beach to discuss essential theoretical information, ensuring a sense of safety and confidence in underwater activities.
Afterward, we transition to our underwater classroom, training in shallow waters near the shore with minimal currents. Here, we focus on acquiring crucial skills such as equipment handling, proper breathing, and underwater mobility. Following the training, we embark on a complete dive near the enchanting Villa Blanca reef. This stunning reef boasts vibrant underwater scenery and offers dives lasting over 45-60 minutes, with a maximum depth of 40ft (12m).
The price for our Scuba Discovery Program from shore is 2.000 MXN per person. This all-inclusive package covers tanks, a full set of Scuba Diving gear, a private instructor, theoretical and practical in-water classes, and the complete dive experience.
Scuba Discovery - from the boat
The Basic Diver from a boat allows us to explore larger and more remote reefs with unique landscapes and marine life that differ from those near the shore. To ensure your safety and proficiency, it remains essential to undergo the same theoretical and practical introduction with in-water skill training as the Basic Diver from shore, since these skills are crucial and necessary for your diving experience.
When diving from the boat, we typically conduct two separate dives throughout the day, departing around 9.30h in the morning and returning by approximately 15h in the afternoon. During the entire dive experience, your instructor will closely accompany you underwater. Group sizes are limited to a maximum of 2 divers per instructor, and the maximum depth is set at 40ft (12m).
A delicious lunch is provided between the dives, including sandwiches, salads, fruits, and cookies. We also offer unlimited drinking water on board.
The price for a full day of Scuba Discovery from the boat, which includes two dives lasting approximately 45-60 minutes each, is 3.500 MXN per person. This covers boat transportation to two different dive sites in the southern part of the island, two tanks, a full set of Scuba Diving gear, the marine park entrance fee, a private instructor, and lunch.
Scuba Discovery - shore and boat
If you’re short on time, we offer an alternative option where you can enjoy one dive from shore followed by another dive from a boat, all on the same day.
In this case, we begin with the comprehensive “Scuba Discovery from shore” activity, following the same description as mentioned earlier. Afterward, you’ll experience a single dive from the boat in the open ocean. This combination package, including theory and practice from shore, one dive at a reef near the shore, and a second dive from the diving vessel at a different offshore reef, is priced at 4.000 MXN per person. This all-inclusive price covers everything you need for the dives.
