We at Benji Divers aim at providing you with a personalized service for unique scuba diving experiences on Cozumel and in the Mexican Caribbean. In that regard we try to distinguish ourselves from the vast majority of operations that follow a more traditional “one size fits all” approach.
The operation was founded on the Bay Islands of Honduras in 2016 and has moved to Cozumel in 2017, where we are now permanently based.
Our philosophy is to explore, admire and understand the underwater world in its complexity and beauty – but without creating any type of negative impact. In order to live up to this standard, we have created some guidelines and best-practices that are crucial to follow.
Benji
Benji is the founder and manager of Benji Divers. Together with a team of well selected freelance instructors and talented staff in the field of administration and logistics, we try our best to make your Scuba Diving dreams come true.
The Big Splash
We usually dive from our spacious and comfortable diving vessel called The Big Splash, or it’s smaller sister The Splash or a comparable boat. It has a sun deck, areas with shadow and a marine toilet.
Lunch is served during the surface interval between dives and consists of sandwiches, salads, fruits and cookies. To stay hydrated, we have unlimited drinking water aboard.
